Why India-First Matters

How to migrate from Textlocal in 4 steps

Your DLT registration is held by the telecom operators under your own Entity ID, not by Textlocal. That means you do not start from zero. You keep your headers and templates and point them at a new provider.

Step 1: Share your DLT details

Send us your DLT Entity ID, the operator portal you registered on (Jio, Airtel, Vi or BSNL), and your list of headers and templates. We check that every template is still active.

Step 2: Link BookMySMS on the DLT portal

TRAI's message-traceability rules require your telemarketer chain to be declared on DLT. We tell you exactly what to add on your operator portal so your existing templates deliver through us.

Step 3: Switch your API endpoint

Our HTTP and XML APIs work with PHP, Python, Java, Node.js, .NET and any stack that can make an HTTP request. In most apps you only change the endpoint URL, API key and parameter names. We share sample code.

Step 4: Test, then go live

Send test messages on each template, check delivery reports in the dashboard, then move your live traffic. Most migrations complete in about 48 hours.
